Our latest Street Velodrome delivery took us over the sea to Ireland
To the Belfast docks and a Cycling Road Race organised by the Irish tourist board and hosted by Titanic Quarter CC & the people of Belfast.
This trailer delivery journey started in the very early morning and after loading up we set off for the eight hour ferry journey from Liverpool.
After delivering and etting up the ASDA StreetVelodrome Series track, the Trailer Guys really enjoyed touring the rejuvenated surroundings of Belfast shipyard; the home to the Titanic and her sister ships.
Amazingly Harland and Wolff are still building and repairing ships more than 100 years after building the ill fated Titanic in Belfast docks.Right Now Deliveries
The Titanic was built in 1911 by Harland and Wolff, at a time when this amazing shipyard had 14000 people employed there. It was then the largest ship yard in the world.
This delivery saw the trailer guys load the Velodrome track onto four trailers including two 18ft trailers with Trailer Guys Joe & Richard driving twin Landrover Discover V8’s and towing the trailers.
In May 2015 StreetVeldrome announced a new working partnership with ASDA and a programme of national series events that will be held in various ASDA stores across Britain.
ASDA shoppers, young and old, will now get the chance to have a go at StreetVelodrome.
And hopefully become keen cyclists as well as fans of the 2015 ASDA Streeveldrome series.
Next delivery sees the ASDA StreetVelodrome Series action moving to the Stockton Cycling Festival on 12th July.
Hope to see you there … The Trailer Guys
